While I was growing up my mother worked at Pontins Holiday Camp in Blackpool.

Recently I found out that it had closed down so I had to visit one last time before it disappeared completely.

Last week saw the last competition of the 2009/10 season of Lancaster Photographic Society. I can’t believe another year is over already! The competitions are a fun, if not a little nerve wracking, way to help improve our photography. Here are my winning images from the past season’s projected image competitions.

The Mapped Festival of Contemporary Arts was an art festival organised and produced by the graduating class of the 2009 MA Professional Contemporary Arts Practice at Lancaster University. I was honoured to be invited to document some of the live performance acts. Here are a few images from the opening night.

Weingut Hammes is an independent family run winemaker on the banks of the Mosel river in Germany. As well as producing a wide range of  stunning wines they also offer accommodation for holiday makers to the beautiful Mosel Valley. These images are a sample of promotional material I’ve worked on for their advertising, website and tasting studio.
